Accounting Error

"Accounting Error" is a small game made for GMTK Game Jam 2026.

You will be playing as a bookkeeper who wants to make some money by lowering numbers in the accounting books. Move numbers around mathematical expression to lower the value and earn money. After each level new rules will be added, which will make it more difficult to you to come up with a way to lower the number.

The goal of the game is to earn 999$. After your first playthrough you may try to beat your high score or play in the Hard Mode, there computer won't make calculations for you!
